1 = Stern Rope3 = Fore Spring5 = Forward Breast
2 = After Breast4 = After Spring6 = Bow Rope

The table below are the minimum recommeneded lengths for vessels berthed in tidal harbours. If you intend to visit a tidal harbour, please ensure that sufficent lengths of berthing lines are held on board. Consult area charts or ask the Harbour Master for information on the rise and fall of tides in that area.
