Heavy Equipment Has Never Been So Light

South Wales Marine can supply 'heavy duty, light weight' lifting slings to the Offshore Wind Turbine Industry. These Dyneema slings deliver the performance of a wire rope sling, but at just a seventh of it weight.

They are easier and safer to handle and have no elastic reponse while lifting. Exibiting excellent long term properties like abrasion resistance, tensile fatigue as well as chemical resistance.

Compared to steel wire rope slings, these slings contribute to easier and more comfortable handling.

The Ultra light weight slings enable faster and easier handling which leads on to financial benefits.

Heavy wire rope slings can cause shoulder and back injuries to the 'lifting team member' when attaching to hook or load. These Light weight Dyneema slings can be handled by one 'lifting team member' and significantly improves the working satisfaction of the Riggers and Slingers.

Because the Ultra light slings are light and soft they pose less risk of shoulder and back injuries and also prevent damaging delicate loads. Therefore costs associated with medical care and corrective maintenance can be reduced.
